• The First Principal, Mrs.H.A.S.Gunathilaka won the Presidential Award in Principal Prathiba Prabha : The Best Principal Selection Competition among the principals of Galle Region 1AB Category Schools.

2012

• The First Principal, Mrs.H.A.S.Gunathilaka won the Presidential Award in Principal Prathiba Prabha : The Best Principal Selection Competition among the principals of Galle Region 1AB Category Schools.
• Receiving the Bronze Award for Best Teacher Quality Circle at the Quality Circle Award Ceremony conducted by the National productivity Secretariat. It should also be noted that no prizes were awarded for the first and second places.
